About Numiko

Numiko is a digital agency based in Leeds. We are a team of 43 people who specialise in producing great digital for good. Over the last 23 years, we have used our expertise in understanding users and organisations to create award-winning digital strategies and platforms that help some of the best companies in the world make society a better, more interesting place. We provide everything our clients need to bring a step change to their digital presence. We achieve this by doing three things really well.

At Numiko, we:

  • Inform digital thinking through research and insight.

  • Design frictionless user experiences that engage audiences.

  • Develop rock-solid, future-proof technologies built upon modern, open principles.

We work across a range of sectors, from world-famous museums, leading universities, inspirational charities, and innovative public sector bodies.

We are only interested in working with organisations that deliver some form of public good. We have chosen to make our skills and experience exclusively available to partners who aim to make positive contributions to the world such as charities and trusts, museums, think tanks, regulatory bodies, and universities. We love coming into work each day, knowing that our expertise is helping to raise funds for worthwhile causes, to inform public thinking on key issues and debates, to inspire independent learners through the delivery of high-quality educational resources, to help people understand their rights, and to help students find a course that will offer them a bright future. We have no interest in helping private enterprises to sell more products, to push corporate agendas, or to make their shareholders even more wealthy.

This ethos can be clearly seen through our list of clients that includes The Children’s Society, Ofgem, The British Academy, The Kings Fund, Chatham House, the University of Oxford, Cancer Research, Channel 4, the University of London, and Lloyd’s Register Foundation.
