About Stine Selmer Andersen
Stine recently became Head of Sustainability at Visit Greenland. Her tasks are various but all set within the framework of data-driven, sustainable tourism development.
In her previous role, she worked with relationship management within PR as well as domestic and international B2B. It involves managing the network and collaboration with local operators and DMO's as well as participating in travel fairs, planning and hosting press and fam trips and counseling businesses on the entire spectrum.
For quite a few years, she has pushed sustainable tourism development through projects. That means that she has been the project manager of the quality label for Greenland that is under development, and is the representative in different development projects like the ARCTISEN, ASIAQ Hazard & Tourism project, the Erasmus+ TOURNET (entrepreneurship in tourism).
She also gets to use her communications and marketing background to create content, write articles and convey results and reports.
Prior to joining Visit Greenland, Stine worked as Destination manager at Sermersooq Business Council and before she relocated to Greenland, she worked at Insero in Horsens and as a handball referee.
